Idle Winds has a venue and a menu, a selection of linens as well as a choice of cutlery and crockery to suit any event, taste and budget.

The Thatch, overlooking the Rose Garden with a wood panelled bar, 9m high ceiling and chandeliers, can comfortably seat from 60 to 250 people with a dance floor. This versatile venue with its dedicated kitchen, has hosted beach parties, Venetian Balls, Oscar Nights, Mad Hatter parties and hundreds of weddings. The 4mx5m screen and data projector ensures a spacious conference venue for very large groups.

The Atrium is complete with its own bar and easy access to The Terrace, overlooking the Garden Chapel. Comfortably seats up to 50 people and is ideal for the smaller, more intimate occasion. A small wooden dance floor can be offered.

Jackie’s has direct access to the kitchen and ensures a private dining experience. Jackie’s can comfortably seat 26-30 guests.

The Wagon Inn with an open fireplace, dart board, pool table and an indoor/outdoor bar counter; offers a convivial, relaxed English Pub atmosphere. The Wagon Inn opens out into a lapa which comfortably seats 40-50 guests.

The Restaurant with a separate bar and 4 open fire places can be reserved for private functions. The main body of the restaurant seats 30-40 guests comfortably, while either of the 2 private annexes, offer intimate dining for a maximum of 10 guests each.

The Terrace adjacent to the Atrium and Restaurant, this thatched area overlooks the garden and aviary. Perfect for the smaller lunch and intimate wedding feast.

The Grounds and gardens are perfect for any outdoor exhibitions, team building events and certain themed functions.
